Pantry Plan
Turn mixed pantry items into repeatable meals.
Donated or emergency groceries can feel random: pasta without sauce, beans without spices, cereal without milk, produce that needs to be used quickly. A pantry plan makes the food less scattered. Sort items by role rather than by package: base, protein, vegetable or fruit, flavor, and comfort. Then build simple combinations that can repeat without much decision-making.
The plan should match the kitchen, not an ideal kitchen. If there is no stove, prioritize no-cook foods and microwave options. If refrigeration is limited, use shelf-stable cartons, single-serving items, and foods that can be finished the same day. If appetite is low after stress, begin with gentle familiar foods and regular hydration.
